Urban Transport in Spain
Monbus offers urban public transport services in several places of Spain, providing solutions personalized for each city in order to meet the demands of mobility of its inhabitants.
By means of our urban service we contribute to relieve traffic congestion in cities such as Barcelona in Catalonia, Santiago de Compostela and Lugo in Galicia or Alcalá de Henares in the Community of Madrid.
The urban buses of Monbus are, for the most part, fully accesible to people with reduced mobility (PMR) and they are equipped with modern operating support systems (SAE), which increases the quality of the service provided to the citizens and they are incresasingly environmentally friendly.
Metropolitan Transport in Spain
Monbus currently operates in different areas of Metropolitan Transport in Spain: In the ATM Área de Barcelona and in the ATM Camp de Tarragona within Catalonia and in Corunna, Lugo, Ourense, Pontevedra, Santiago, Vigo and Ferrol within Galicia and in the CRTM in the Community of Madrid.
The metropolitan transport services are regulated by different public bodies in each region and they establish a series of measures such as the fare integration in order to improve the citizens' mobility and accesability in the outskirts of the major urban centres.
