Albacete Fair
Albacete already smells of fair! The town of Castille la Mancha gets ready to its Main Festivity, which is celebrated every year between 7th and 17th September in honour of the Virgen de los Llanos. Albacete Fair has been declared of International Tourist Interest since the year 2008. It is not only considered one of the oldest fairs in Spain, but it has also succeeded in overcoming two million visitors in its last editions.
The battle of flowers, the procession in honour of the Virgin or its famous bullfighting fair are some of the main attractions of Albacete Fair, which also offers the possibility of enjoying the impressive decoration of its showground and tasting the varied gastronomic offer of its stands, which ranges from prawns and fries to the typical manchego cold meat.
