Monbus participated in the MOVES III Programme
The commitment to an increasingly efficient mobility continues to mark the roadmap of Monbus. As a result of this responsibility, Empresa Monforte, a member company of Monbus, participates in the MOVES III Programme of Incentives for Efficient and Sustainable Mobility. The objectives of this plan include the acquisition of plug-in electric and fuel cell vehicles and the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructures.
The MOVES II programme encourages efficient mobility and at the same time serves as a tool to tackle the increase of CO2 emissions, promoting the reduction of fossil fuel consumption in transport and the implementation of cleaner energies.
Adherence to this plan joins other actions in the environmental field such as the attainment of the certifications UNE-EN ISO 14001 for Environmental Management, UNE-ISO 50001 for Energy Management o EA 0050 on Efficient Driving among others, which endorse the eagerness of Monbus to work in favour of a cleaner and more sustainable transport.
