Urbanos de Lugo presents two new vehicles
Urbanos de Lugo and the City Council of Lugo have presented these two new vehicles this morning. These are two buses Mercedes-Benz Citaro K that from tomorrow will run through the streets of the city.
In the presentation, the marketing director of Monbus, Alba López, emphasized on urban mobility and environmental conservation. Travellers can enjoy an efficient, economic and decongestant means of transport for the city’s traffic.
Rubén Arroxo, Deputy Mayor and head of the Mobility and Urban Infrastructure Department of the City Council, highlighted the incorporation of the new vehicles to the transport service of the city.
A better service
The new vehicles incorporate numerous features that will offer a better service to passengers. They are more environmentally friendly, as they reduce its gas emissions by 73,3% and particle emissions by 85.3%, always in reference to Euro 6 standard.
The new vehicles incorporate electric and manual ramp, as well as space for 2 PMRSR. In terms of safety, they are fitted with alcolock, turn lamps and anti-tip system. Furthermore,passengers can be always connected during their trips thanks to WiFi connection and integrated USB chargers.
Urbanos de Lugo continues to meet the highest quality standards, offering a modern fleet, completely accessible and always connected.
The presentation has also served to announce the new image of Urbanos de Lugo, with a logo and colors completely renewed. Red will now be the protagonist in the buses, together with the silhouette of the wall that adorns the sides.
