The Monbus Obradoiro begins with a victory
Season 18/19 began in the best way for the Monbus Obradoiro after winning against San Pablo Burgos (91-81). Moncho’s team made a great team performance.
The team started playing with intensity from the beginning. Nacho Llovet took the lead role in attack during the beginning of the game (22-17). By their work, Obradoiro team took advantage on the scoreboard (45-32).
In the second half of the match continued along the same path. Ben Simons made three-point shots in a row just before the last quarter (69-56). Without time for relaxation, the Monbus Obradoiro continued playing with the same intensity. Then, Kostas Vasileiadis appeared to kill the game off. The Greek forward finished as the highest scorer of the match with 20 points.
The Multiusos Fontes do Sar stood up to say goodbye to the team and with a loud ovation they showed their gratitude for the first victory of the season. Next Thursday from 21:30 Obradoiro will play against Herbalife Gran Canaria and on Saturday at 20:30 its rival will be Iberostar Tenerife.
