Monbus Obradoiro comes back on the right track

Monbus Obradoiro got its third victory of the season after defeating the Delteco GBC by 88 to 82 in the Multiusos Fontes do Sar. Thanks to its effort, the Santiago team was taking control of the game and ended up getting an important victory for its public.

The visitors started better but soon the forces were balanced. Under the direction of Pepe Pozas, Monbus Obradoiro went on the attack to take advantage, although everything was equal at the end of the first ten minutes (17-17).

In the second quarter, the Guipuzcoan team found the path with a successful  Miquel Salvó who pushed his team to increase the scoreboard. Then appeared Maxime de Zeeuw to lead the resistance and with the inspiration of Kyle Singler kept the distance (40-42).

After the break, Monbus Obradoiro brought out his offensive repertoire with Andreas Obst as his main reference. The German forward, who ended up as top scorer of his team in the match, led the attacking work of the third quarter with 12 points that allow to Moncho Fernández to extend its lead (70-62).

With the result in favor, Monbus Obradoiro had the match more controlled despite Garett Nevels attempts to rebound his team. Llovet and Brodziansky decided the match with two actions of merit in a tight final that the Galician knew how to manage better to take the victory.
