Day of the Androlla
It is included in the programme for Viana do Bolo Carnival celebration. The Party of the Androlla, one of the most important gastronomic Galician parties, has been celebrated since 1970 on “Fat Sunday” (main day of Viana do Bolo Carnival).
It is one of the most important products of Galician and Viana do Bolo gastronomy. Thousands of people meet to enjoy this delicacy every year. The “androlla” is a sausage made from marinated, cured, pork chop which is usually served with “cachelos” (boiled potatoes) and turnip tops. Galicia is a land of high quality products and as a consequence of this, excellent wines and liquors are never missing in this type of parties.

For that reason, if you want to spend a day enjoying parties and gastronomy, the day of the Androlla is waiting for you.
