The comparsas and murgas play an important role, a show which is worth seeing, at least, once in life. The groups are the ones who enliven the atmosphere with drums and percussion instruments by means of parades which show their own choreographies and costumes.
The murgas are the responsible for the creation of those so funny songs, mainly in a satirical, comic or complaint tone, based on topical issues.
