Best Christmas street markets
One of the lovely things at Christmas time is to visit these typical street markets. It is a good occasion to know a city and buy traditional presents. We have made a list with some of the best Christmas street markets in Spain.
- Barcelona:
The biggest Christmas street market in Spain. La Fira de Reis has nearly 300 stands throughout Gran Vía street, where you can buy all type of things, although the typical present is the caganer, a figure of the nativity scene. There is a street market of toys next to Plaza Cataluña and a street market of craftsmanship next to Plaza España. It takes place from 20th December until 6th January.
Another popular market is Santa Lucía Fair, celebrated during the month of December.

From 4th December to 9th January it takes place the Christmas market in Bilbao (Calle Bailén). More than 40 stands will be offering the best craftsmanship and gastronomy of Basque culture.
