Obradoiro - Baskonia Spanish Basketball Cup 2016
Yesterday started the final stage of the Spanish Basketball Cup 2016. The Río Natura Monbus Obradoiro played against Laboral Kutxa Baskonia the last basketball match of the quarter finals.
The galician team, host team of the championship, played against the Basque team.
Kutxa Baskonia team with Adam Hanga full of energy to open the scoring at the beginning of the match. Galician team did not give up and thanks to McGrath the Río Natura Monbus Obradoiro had advantages over the opponent close to the end of the match.
El Coliseum of A Coruña was witness of the fight between teams.
José Luis Mateo declared: “It will be a different match, illusion is our main weapon and we will fight a duel”.
Raúl López, president of Río Natura Monbus, declared: “During the Spanish Basketball Cup, Santiago, A Coruña and Galicia will face the Baskonia team”
The Obradoiro has fought until the end for the #Copadoiro. Adam Waczynski, one of the best players of the competition, missed a free throw.
The Obradoiro team played at home supported by fans. We couldn’t win, but the illusion of victory till the end is enough for #Obradoiristas. ¡VaiObra!
