The Obradoiro commended itself to St James the Apostle

Following the tradition, the Rio Natura Monbus Obradoiro did an offering to St James the Apostle. The Rio Natura commended itself to St James and they also asked for protection for the Basketball Spanish Cup.

The cathedral dean, Segundo Pérez, was the person in charge of the liturgy. Segundo declared that St James cathedral feels represented by the Rio Natura Monbus Obradoiro and he blessed the work and the effort of everyone.

Raúl López, Chairman of the Management Board of the Obradoiro and Monbus company. He dedicated a few special words to St James the Apostle. He underlined the privilege of being ambassadors of the land with the same name. Raúl López gave to the dean a team shirt with the number 44 and signed by all players.

The event continued with the famous launch of the Botafumeiro. This moment was special for foreign players like Waczynski or McGrath.

Finally, as the tradition says, everyone gave a hug to St James statue and they covered it with the new scarf of the team for the Gold Cup.
