Monbus

On the occasion of the celebration of the National Festivity ofCatalonia, Monbus will provide its services of bus renting to the Catalan National Assembly, in order to approach those inhabitants of the regions of Les Garrigues, Tárrega and l’Anoia who want to participate on the celebrations that will take place on Friday on the city of Barcelona. It is expected that the total of travels among occasional transportation services and regular transportation of Hispano Igualadina and Vibasa, will be approximately 3,000 people. 

Concretely, 42 buses between 50 and 88 seats will pick up between the 11:00 and the 13:00 hours people who want to travel from Puiggròs, Arbeca, Omellons, Les Borges Blanques, Sunyer, Alfés, Cervià de les Garrigues, Vilosell, Castellolí, La Pobla de Claramunt, Copons, La Torre de Claramunt, Castellfollit de Riubregós, Calaf, Jorba, Sant Martí de Tous, Vallbona d’Anoia, El Bruc, Vilanova del Camí, Tàrrega and Igualada. At the end of the celebrations around the 20:00 and the 21:00 hours, the buses will return to the localities of origin.

This offer will be completed with the regular services of Vibasa, which usually connect Barcelona with San Sebastián, Irún, Pamplona, Vigo, Aranda de Duero, Tudela, Soria or Salamanca, among other localities; and the urban and interurban lines of Hispano Igualadina, that currently transfer to Barcelona passengers from places like Reus, Vilafranca del Penedès, Esparreguera or Igualada.The Diada, National Festivity of Catalonia or Day of Catalonia is celebrated every 11th of September for the commemoration of the falling of Barcelona into hands of the Bourbonic troops during the war of the Spanish Succession after fourteen months of siege, concretely the 11th of september of 1714. The Parliament of Catalonia, after its tras su reinstatement in 1980, declared this date National Festivity of Catalonia on its first law.

In order to be able to arrive to the acts programmed for this year and,due to the large pool of people that is expected to move, will be available  forthe attendants buses of the occasional service of Monbus and of the regular lines Hispano Igualadina and Vibasa, a fleet under constant  renovation and equipped with the most advanced systems of security and comfort, in order to make the travel a pleasant experience and offer that way a high-quality service.
