New bus station in Vitoria

From the Monday 16th of March of 2015, date when the new Station of Buses of Vitoria-Gasteiz will be inaugurated, our  services of transportation for the journey Irún - Pontevedra or Pontevedra - Irún, which before were done on the old station placed at the Los Herrán street, are moved to the new installations placed on Euskaltzaindia Square s/n.

At the new Station of Buses of Vitoria had been installed areas for information offices, ticket offices for the sale of the tickets, 25 platforms for buses, 5 information screens and cloakroom zone among other services. In addition, the new infrastructure has an underground car park with a capacity for 302 vehicles (10 people with reduced mobility) and parking for bicycles and motorcycles.

The construction of the new Buses Station of Vitoria started on November of 2012 and they were awarded to the UTE (formed by Vías y Construcciones and Opacua and Balgorza) and they had a budget of more than 15 millions of euros, financed at the 90% by the Foral Council of Álava and by the Basque Goverment.
