Monbus launches UAH free bus service
With the beginning of the university year, Monbus has launched its new free service at the Scientific and Technological Campus of the University of Alcalá de Henares, satisfying student, teachers and staff demand.
This service will operate with a frequency of 15 minutes in two different time periods: from 07:45h to 10:45h and from 14:30h to 20:30h. During school days, the route will be circular starting and finishing at the train station. In its way up it will stop at the building of Pharmacy, Medicine and Polytechnic and, again, at Medicine and Pharmacy, in its way back to the train station.
The bus that provides the service is one of the most efficient in the Monbus fleet as it uses compressed natural gas for its operation, the most ecological alternative fuel for vehicles of this size. In addition, it incorporates low noise wheels and it has low-floor to be used by people with reduced mobility.
