Monbus' commitment to the environment has always been very strong and that is why, given its activity of transporting passengers by road, the fight against climate change has always been one of its priorities. As a result of this commitment, Monbus has been calculating its greenhouse gas emissions for several years (known as Carbon Footprint) and working to reduce these emissions, all this under the ISO 14064 standard.
As a result of this continuous effort, 14 of the companies affiliated to Monbus have just obtained the stamp Calculo + Reduzco, from the National Carbon Footprint Registry, promoted by the Ministry of Environment. This distinction is an acknowledgment by this Administration of the achievement of an objective reduction of emissions.
After several years publishing its emissions on the Ministry's website and carrying out a reduction plan through various measures, such as the renewal of the fleet and the promotion of efficient driving among its employees, Monbus obtains a new certification that supports the achievement of his objectives.
However, Monbus will continue working for a cleaner air with new emission reduction plans that will continue to maintain its fight against climate change.
