Towards a first level transport

The president of Monbus, Raúl López, used this opportunity to make public institutions aware of passenger transport sector in the framework of the new Public Procurement Law.

Raúl López together with Elena Barba, secretary of the Junta Consultiva de Contratación Administrativa de la Consejería de Hacienda, Ángel Córdoba, president of APROSER, and Diego Giráldez, secretary of the Sindicato de Seguridad de FeSMC-UGT, took part in a round table about Public Sector Contracts, analysis of social agents.

The meeting organised by FeSMC-UGT under the title Conferences on the Public Sector Contracts, took place in the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Galicia, and a debate headed by Ethel Vázquez, Minister of the Infrastructure and Housing ,was held as well.

In his speech, Raúl López, highlighted the intrinsic risks of the transport sector and he defended the need to have healthy companies which provide quality services. Moreover, the president denounced that, the economic crisis caused a scarcity in the transport sector.

Raúl López used this opportunity to make public institutions aware of the necessity to achieve a first level transport, as well as, economic for users.
