New app of galicia public transport
Galician government (Xunta) launches a new app for public transport. Now users can check expenses, reimbursements, etc in real time.
Thanks to this app users can register their public transport cards, check reimbursements made and receive notifications of pending top-ups to avoid its expiration.
On condition that you are a frequent user of metropolitan transport (travel at least 40 times per month), have right to social bonus or you are a Xente Nova card holder.
The more you travel the best, so if you travel 41 times or more per month you can get a discount. At the end of next month, user will receive a refund of 15% of the total amount spent. Beneficiary have to introduce his card at the cash machine (ABANCA) and accept the bonus.
This new app is part of a strategy, promoted by Galician government, for modernising public transport services.
